Mobile Bay Sunset Engagement Session

An October engagement session on Mobile Bay complete with a stunning sunset... This session ended in tears. Not from anything sad of course! But from those wistful, misty tears that well up and just kinda puddle in your eyes when you are just so glad for someone’s happiness. I don’t know how long I’ve known this beautiful bride-to-be. We met right after college and I had taken a new job at a software company. Looking back, I sure am glad I got that job! It wasn’t exactly my dream job. No pursuit of my passion. Basically just a ton of paperwork and sitting in front of the computer! (Although maybe that computer time prepared me for the hours and hours of editing sessions ahead!) But I find it so amazing to see how God opens doors of opportunity in our lives. Not only did I make several lifelong friendships like this one because of that job, but I got to travel the world! And on one of those trips, I met the man who would become my husband and father to my precious baby! You just never know what blessings are in store. And I am so excited to see what lies ahead for this couple. They are just starting out on a journey that will be truly amazing. And I hope to have a front row seat to all that goodness and have many more moments of those happy tears. Love you, Laurie!
