FAQs

Where will my session take place? Do you have a studio?: Yes! Sessions take place in the private studio of Wendy Wilson Photography in Daphne, AL. The historic, two-story space is located on secluded private property and offers beautiful natural light. The grounds offer a variety of scenery from majestic oaks to wide open spaces to cool architectural elements.
What's included in the Session Fee?: The Session Fee includes your photo shoot with Wendy and your studio reveal appointment with Wendy to see your finished images and make selections for your order. Prints, products, and digital files are not included. Photos are available for purchase after your session. You are never under any obligation to make a purchase. You only order what you love.
When and How do I view my photos?: This is the best part!! About a week or two after your session, you will come back to the studio for your photo viewing appointment with Wendy. This is when you will see all of your edited images and make selections. The problem is that you will be presented with so many gorgeous photos! This is why meeting in person is so helpful. So many amazing photos can be overwhelming. Wendy will go through the entire gallery with you several times and help you make decisions that work for you, It's fun and so much easier than staring at tiny proofs on your phone or computer to try and compare photos!
Do you offer mini sessions?: No. The session allows us the time needed to be creative and achieve unique photos for your style and needs.
Can you Photoshop my scar, bruise, acne, etc?: Short answer, yes. Your images will undergo a full retouch which includes removing any temporary things like acne or bruising. However, this does NOT mean changing you to look like someone else. That's just not what we're going for here. You will certainly see yourself in the best possible light, and this is always accomplished with posing specific to your body type and beautiful lighting. We do edit by smoothing the skin, taming wild hairs, stylized editing, and sometimes a little adjustment when the camera lens causes distortion. But rest assured and be confident in the fact that we are celebrating YOU, not a photoshopped false version of you. That's important.

The session fee covers the photoshoot time and your ordering appointment or online gallery process. Images are not included in the session fee. What you choose to spend is entirely up to you! You don’t have to make any choices until your reveal session when we will go through your images together. Collections start at $1490.
